Birmingham v Man United Preview
Man United are on a roll, and when they are, we all know how dangerous they can be. The Blues stand in their way at lunchtime on Saturday, and Steve Bruce will not be relishing it. United are beginning to look like a team that can deliver the goods again, and at 4/5 with Stan James?.they seem a decent bet.The records between the sides point to a United win, because Birmingham have only won one of the last eleven matches between the sides at St Andrews. In fact?.the omens for Birmingham are not good. You just get the feeling that United are going to start to perform very soon and the return of Paul Scholes will give them an extra string to their bow. United are still a very talented and formidable side.Steve Bruce's men are 100/30 to win the game, and on the face of it?a big price?but it seems a little too much to ask. They have started slowly but have put in some useful performances. So there could be a shock, but a draw for The Blues seems a more likely end result. The draw is 11/5.The Boy Wonder Rooney is playing and if you think he's every bit as good as he's piped up to be then 11/10 to score at anytime could be a bet. The Birmingham defence will have to be at it's best to stop him?..and others. The most tempting bet on offer must be the Match Handicap, where United are 9/4?minus one goal??and it's not daft to assume that Man Utd could win this very comfortably. Other markets could be over 2 goals at 4/5. You'd expect goals.Man United have to win if they are not to let Chelsea and Arsenal move away. They are beginning to motor now, and Birmingham could well be in the wrong place at the wrong time. All the markets are available at www.stanjames.com
