BLUE SQUARE 2009 US MASTERS TIPS
We're only a few hours away from the opening tee-off of the 2009 Masters tournament at Augusta National Golf Course. We've got a massive field for this one and if you think a long-shot winner is going to usurp Tiger Woods as the penultimate winner then you stand to make a very solid profit.Tiger Woods is listed at 9/4 at Blue Square for the outright victory. Phil Mickelson, who I believe is under-priced, sits just behind Tiger at 9/1. The following tandem, both listed at 18/1, represent much better bets in my opinion and Geoff Ogilvy and Padraig Harrington bring good form into the tournament. Retief Goosen is also an excellent bet here at a solid 25/1. Paul Casey is expected to put in a good shift here and 28/1 sounds about right. I don't see him winning this, but he could very well finish in the top 5. Other big names include Sergio Garcia at an enticing 35/1, Ernie Els at 40/1 and the out-of-form Vijay Singh at 66/1. Another great aspect about betting with Blue Square is the fact that you have the option to bet each-way at ¼ of the odds on the top 5 finishers. So, if you think a longer shot is going to put together a great performance, but fail to go the distance, you can still get paid out. Putting together a top 5 list can pay out huge dividends, with a single pound each way on the top five listed players paying out at $100!There's a lot of cash to be made at this year's US Masters and I'm backing this as my top five:1. Tiger Woods (9/4)2. Geoff Ogilvy (18/1)3. Retief Goosen (25/1)4. Paul Casey (28/1)5. Sergio Garcia (35/1)
