BLUE SQUARE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE BETTING TIPS BAYERN MUNICH VS BARCELONA
Bayern Munich had their hats handed to them by Barca last week and there really isn't much they can do to get back into this one against Messi & Co. Bayern effectively have to win 5-0 if they're going to progress to the next stage of the competition and if you think the Germans could pull off one of the most incredible reversals ever, you'll be getting paid out at 125/1. Long odds, surely. I can see Bayern getting the result in this match as Barca don't really have too much to play for and will likely go for a strategy of containment and try to keep them restricted to two goals or less. Bayern certainly have players who can score and I actually do think they could potentially put five past Barca, but I don't think they can do it without conceding, that's really the issue in my book. In terms of outright betting, Barcelona remain slim favourites, they've got odds of 11/8 contrasted with Bayern's 13/8. The draw is listed at 5/2. Luca Toni will have to be integral to all of Bayern's moves and the bookmakers favour him to strike. He's carrying odds of 11/8 compared to Samuel Eto'o who is listed at 6/4 alongside Leo Messi. Bayern need to pull off a world-class offensive performance as well as a world-class defensive performance. I think we could have issues with both of those occuring at the same time. I think Bayern will give it a go here and the safest bet is the Over 2.5 goals at 8/11 with Blue Square.
