BOB BRADLEY ODDS PLUMMET FOR NEXT ASTON VILLA MANAGER

It looks like there's been a run on Bob Bradley's odds to be named the next Aston Villa manager. At Betfair, the popular online betting exchange where players back and lay their own odds, Bradley's odds are just a bit north of even-money with his odds currently trading at around 2.7 or so.
Bob Bradley's odds to be named Next Aston Villa manager were originally listed around 5.0 and this is fairly significant as it shows that punters are taking the rumor that he has resigned as the USA's National Team manager with immediate effect.
I'm not sure whether that's actually what's happened or not but BBC's gossip column has noted it from an article in Talksport.
Sven Goran Eriksson is also seeing his odds drop a bit and it has emerged that he is willing to take a pay cut in order to get the Aston Villa job. Again, similar to the situation at Fulham, I don't see the fans being particularly inspired for Sven.
You'll find the former England manager trading around 5.0.
Kevin MacDonald is available at an 8.0 price and still remains rather plausible. Ronald Koeman is also priced at 14.5 and it looks like there's a bit of movement there, but he is definitely an outside bet.
There had also been some odd whispers that Mark Hughes might be set to drop his new gig at Fulham and move immediately to Villa. This doesn't look to be happening and sparky is priced at 32.0.
Bob Bradley is clearly the momentum play here and everything could get wrapped up over the weekend. It will be interesting to see if he's in the stands at Villa Park tomorrow.
