BRAZIL VS USA CONFEDERATIONS CUP FINAL BETTING TIPS

After a long, arduous road as underdogs in virtually every game they've played in so far during this tournament, The United States will be going into their match with world football powerhouse Brazil as a 7/1 underdog to take the victory in 90 minutes of play. The draw is listed at 7/2 while Brazil are the odds-on favourite at 2/5. You can back the USA on a draw no bet at 9/2 or at 4/1 to lift the cup at anytime (this includes penalties and overtime- the USA's best chance to strike, in my opinion). In terms of the handicap betting, you can select USA (+1.0) at 15/8 or USA (+2.0) at 4/7. Thats indicative of the fact that the bookmakers clearly expect Brazil to win, but only by a goal. You can back USA and the Draw at 15/8. You can back the Unites States to win both halves at 14/1 or you can go draw/USA at 14/1. Personally, I think thats a much better bet than them winning the game outright, especially when you consider the value. I think Brazil will likely dominate the first half and if the USA can keep it to within a goal and then turn on the afterburners in the second half, it could be a dramatically different story. USA to win the first 45 minutes is 13/2, while Brazil is a mere 10/11, the draw only pays 6/5. Betting those odds on the USA to win 45 minutes of football after they've dumped out Spain, isn't a bad bet at all. 1-0 and 2-0 to Brazil are the favoured correct score bets at 5/1 while USA 2-1 pays 22/1 and 2-1 Brazil pays 7/1. I personally like 3-2 USA at 90/1, but I think this one will be decided in extra time so I'm backing 2-2 at 18/1. Jozy Altidore is the favoured first goalscorer for the United States at 11/1 while Landon Donovan is 12/1. Connor Casey and Clint Dempsey share a 14/1 price. You can basically cut the odds in half to get the bet on whether they'll be first to score for their team. Luis Fabiano has been pretty quiet this tournament and he is 7/2 to score first while Alexandre Pato is 11/2 alongside Kaka and Robinho. Cut the odds by 1/3 and you'll get their anytime goalscorer odds. USA is 30/1 to win during extra time while Brazil carries a 15/2 price. USA is 13/1 to win during a penalty shootout while Brazil is 12/1. VERDICTI think Brazil should win this 2-0, but I can't get away from the USA in this tournament. 2-2 at the end of 90 minutes and a 3-2 win for the USA on penalties.
