British Lions vs New Zealand Third Test Preview

Fortunately from a Lions point of view, a shoulder injury sustained in the final minutes of the second Test in Wellington has kept Carter out. Third choice fly-half Luke McAllister fills in after Leon MacDonald was ruled out by a groin injury. Further good news for the Tourists is arguably one of the best flankers (McCaw) in World Rugby has also been ruled out due to injury. It means a fair amount of reshuffling for the hosts who surely won't be as fluid. The Lions won't want to return home having lost every Test, and so are sure to put in a massive effort against an understrenght Kiwis outfit. Unfortunately early risers on Saturday morning in Britain are likely to suffer more heartbreak, but not after a much improved performance from the tourists. As mentioned above the 20pts handicap has gone, but an 18pts line does remain and that looks well worth taking.
