CAMEROON VS GABON 2010 AFRICAN CUP OF NATIONS LATEST BETTING TIPS

We've got two quality matches kicking off today and, after the high-scoring excitement we saw yesterday, we can hopefully build on that momentum. It is definitely clear that all the African sides are standing tall and it really looks like even the most underestimated teams are capable of giving everyone a real challenge. I think the knock-out phases of the tournament are going to be fascinating and all the group stage winning positions look wide open at the moment.
In Cameroon vs Gabon, we'll be getting our first glimpse of Samuel Eto'o in the tournament and I expect a number of bets on him to score. Cameroon are fairly heavy favourites, but it has paid to bet against the favourites so far. Cameroon trade at 2/5 against Gabon's lengthy 7/1 price. The draw is listed at 12/5. I think that's what Gabon will be aiming for.
If the score hits 3 goals or more, you've got a 10/11 payout. If Cameroon blow out Gabon with 4 goals or more in their favour then you're looking at a hefty 9/2. Of course, Cameroon could score 4 goals and lose 5-4 to Gabon (it wouldn't seem out of place in this tournament). If Gabon score at all, you're going to get paid out at 13/8. That's a great bet for Gabon fans and it's not a bad margin in what's been a very open and high-scoring tournament.
Samuel Eto'o is listed at 10/11 to score anytime and 8/1 to score in both halves. He is a slim 16/1 to score a hat-trick (the shortest odds of any striker so far this tournament). He is 5/1 to score a header and 8/1 to score from outside the box. He is 3/1 to score first and an enticing 11/2 to hit the woodwork at any time. I think that's a great bet, as I expect him to be taking his chances all day. He is 16/1 to be fouled and win a penalty while he is 5/1 to be booked and a lengthy 66/1 to be sent off.
The big question here, with Cameroon so heavily-favoured, is whether this match will wind up like the Ivory Coast fixture from day 2? The odds on a draw are solid and the odds on a high-scoring draw are massive. A 3-3 draw pays 50/1. Betting on a high-scoring fixture is a solid proposition so far and I'm backing 4 or more goals at 23/10.
