CANADA VS SLOVAKIA VANCOUVER 2010 ICE HOCKEY SEMI FINAL BETTING ODDS

At the time of this writing the American hockey team is absolutely hammering Finland after notching six goals in something like 13 minutes. Incredible stuff as nobody even expected six goals in the actual game, let alone the opening few minutes. 
With this game written off in the first period, it looks like all eyes will soon be turning to Canada vs Slovakia in their semi-final fixture which starts at 6:30 pm PST. 
Canada are listed as massive favourites for this one with a price of 1.25 to win within regular time. Slovakia are trading at a lengthy 8.5 to pull off another upset. Keep in mind that this side has beaten the Russians and the defending champions Sweden, so you don't want to underestimate them. The draw pays out at 6.0. 

If you're looking at the outright winner (after overtime) Canada is listed at a very slim 1.12 with the Slovaks at 6.0.

The USA have made a real statement in their semi-final and Canada will know that they don't face an easy task today against Slovakia. They don't want to put the cart before the horse and underestimate Slovakia- thats for sure. I think Canada will take this one, and if they play how they did against Russia they should take this. They looked like they had the lines sorted out a bit better there and the players played more as a team. If they can replicate that form- it looks like a Canada vs USA Final.
