Carole to grow in BB8 popularity

When Englebert Humperdinck sang 'Please release me, let me go' I'm not sure he had the audience of Big Brother 8 in mind but this series has finally exhausted the public's interest and worst of all has thrown up little in the way of betting opportunities. Every single eviction thus far has been heavily in one housemate's favour and they have all gone to type. The latest eviction will be no different with Nicky a best price 1/100 for eviction against Gerry. So with no value on the eviction market is there any clue to the outright winner now that we are 50-odd days into the series? Loveable Essex boy Brian heads the betting at 8/13 with Stan James but with several weeks left in this never-ending saga surely the public will tire of his stupidity. Even though it's not apparently an act (do girls really do No 2s?) the whole thing is getting too much with an Essex radio station actually campaigning for him to be thrown out of the house for damaging Essex's reputation. Liam, at 11/2 is next in the betting but he needs to be very careful as his popularity, let alone his street cred, will disappear if he goes down the path of romance with the devil incarnate Charley. Then there's Chanelle and the twins and even now we know what's going to happen to them, five minutes of fame after walking through the exit door at the Elstree studios and then back to the beauty salon, to work that is?. So it leaves me to think who could come with a late spurt and cause the upset that we desperately need to 1. make the series watchable in the last weeks and 2. earn us some money. Well one name springs to mind and that is Carole. Big Brother has a tradition of housemates who are nominated early on, only to survive and grow in popularity. She's got a (ahem) growing personality - witness her constant questioning to Ziggy and Chanelle (so are you two back on yet) and her love of cleaning and at least you have the start of a career outside of the house - star in the new Daz advert anyone??
