CELTIC VS RAPID VIENNA EUROPA LEAGUE TIPS
Celtic take on Rapid Vienna this evening in their latest Europa League fixture and Blue Square consider them quite strong favourites and have listed them at an 8/13 price. You can back Rapid Vienna at 4/1 and the draw is also available at 14/5, but I think this one should go the way of the Scottish side, although I certainly don't expect a blow-out. The handicap has been listed at (-1.0) in Celtic's favour and you can take that at 8/5- very solid odds, but I'm not outrageously confident that Celtic will win by two goals. 2-1 or a nervy 1-0 could be the order of the day. You're looking at 15/2 and 11/2, respectively, for those correct score margins. The half-time/full-time markets are interesting and Celtic to win both halves garners a 6/4 price- solid odds. Draw/Celtic is at 7/2 and that's not a bad punt either. It could be a tough first-half. There's part of me that thinks this is really one for the in-play wagerers, as Celtic sometimes don't show up to play as well as they should. However, I think the home crowd could make the difference here and Celtic Park is a tough spot to visit. Vienna won their opening fixture against Hamburg by an impressive 3-0 margin so this will be anything but a walk in the park. Celtic need the points, and I think they should just squeak this one. If you're looking to push and try to make some real coin, back a 3-2 scoreline in either direction at 28/1 and 50/1.
