As it currently stands, Manchester City are the shortest priced side in the betting market with a listing anywhere between 11/4 all the way up to a best price of 7/2 right now. That’s a decent price right now but City have always seemed to drop off towards the end of the competition.

It’s worth keeping your eye on them as they get through to the next stage of the contest and see who they are paired up against because you can’t really expect their price to drop significantly in any way between the two fixtures unless they wind up absolutely blowing out the other team in some capacity and win one of the competition 8-0 or something.

Bayern Munich are the next team in the mix and they are an outfit who is always capable of winning the Champions League and this year seems to be no different as they have strung together a series of solid performances and look likely to go from strength to strength.

The bookmakers are always going to be laying a short-ish price tag on Bayern Munich and their price tag is hovering around a 5/1 margin right now with a number of top bookmakers.

There are a few bookmakers out there who will still give you an 11/2 price tag on Bayern Munich and that’s a pretty good price at this point - they certainly won’t be any higher than that and you always have a feeling that they are going to pick up steam at just the right moment and get the job done.
