With fairly thorough victories last week, both ties look to be relatively
sorted at the moment but there is is still the matter of the reverse fixtures - and anybody going against the grain is going to be looking at a serious payday a longshot result actually comes in.
Real Madrid vs Dortmund happens on Tuesday and Real Madrid are heavily-favoured to get a result at home with the bookmakers listing them at extremely short odds of 4/7 for a team that just had their rear ends handed to them a week ago. Their German counterparts are a solid 19/5 for a victory at the Nou Camp, but you reckon they’re not really playing for that - merely looking not to lose 3-0, the earliest result that would see them be in danger.
Real Madrid do possess the away goal but a 4-1 margin is so difficult to overcome. Dortmund, to qualify outright, are priced at a 1/5 listing and looking like a very short price will hold until they get in some serious trouble and find themselves down 2-0 or something like that.
Look for Real Madrid to take some money before the match and drop from their 10/3, likely down to a straight 3/1 as punters will come in looking for action and hoping Jose Mourinho can conjure up another tactical masterclass by potentially forcing extra time.
Whether they could actually win a penalty shoot-out with the Germans is still up in the air but you reckon that the Spanish side would take that over a 90 minute loss any day of the week.
