Champions League Betting Preview PT 2
- By A.J. Ryder on October 20, 2020 15:10 GMTChelsea take on Sevilla and the bookmakers have them priced as the favourites here in a match that will definitely not be a walk in the park. The bookmakers have the blue side of London trading at an even money price to get the result and their Premier League form has shown that they are vulnerable if teams come at them and get behind their defence.

The Spanish side can be backed around an 18/5 listing and that could wind up being a really solid upset wager as Chelsea are perhaps more vulnerable here than they look on paper. The draw sits at a 3/1 price tag and you reckon that would suit Sevilla just fine. Whomever scores the first goal here will likely tell the tale in this Champions League contest.
Barcelona are the biggest favourite of the day with a slim 1/11 price tag as they take on Ferencvaros who are a full 33/1 price to get an upset against Barca. As the Catalan club are not exactly in the best of spirits at the moment there might be a few who have a bash against them but a bet against Barca is likely used as an in-play wager to see how the teams actually line up against each other. A quick goal here from the underdogs would see the odds tilt significantly.
Lazio take on Borussia Dortmund in what looks to be a very open contest with the German side being considered the favourites for this one. Right now, you’ll find them at a 15/14 price tag while Lazio are a solid 31/10 listing to get the victory. A draw wouldn’t be a huge surprise here and the price is also listed at 31/10.
Zenit St Petersburg come into their match against Club Brugge as the even money favourites to get the victory at home. The Belgian side are an interesting 4/1 and there may not be too much between the sides in this one and it looks to be a match that could be one from a dead ball situation.
