While there is no real marquee fixture for the Tuesday action in the Champions League, there are a lot of big sides playing against smaller sides. However, if you fancy a few interesting sides to pull off an upset you can get yourself some fantastic odds - particularly if you’re going to combine any of these match-ups with a few other matches to add value.
Benfica take on Zenit St Petersburg and the Portuguese hosts are going in as the distinct favourites here against the travelling Russian side. The bookmakers have them posted just a shade under even money with a 19/20 payout being floated right now before the match itself.
The draw trades at an interesting 5/2 and there is every chance that this one could turn out to be a bit of an up-and-down fixture with a 0-0 draw not entirely unlikely in the grand scheme of things. The Russians are available at a 10/3 margin and they can be tricky to play against but tend to be better when facing off against other sides on their own pitch.
Borussia Dortmund vs Arsenal is one of the most interesting match-ups of the day and you can back the German hosts at a 17/20 margin to get the better of the English side who come in off of a wild 2-2 draw with Liverpool at the weekend. They will be looking to get things back on track here and any Gunners fans who genuinely believe that they have what it takes to get the job done will be rewarded with a quality 10/3 price tag for the victory.
The draw can be backed at 29/10 and a 1-1 result is probably the most likely if you’re going for the draw.
