Champions League Betting Tips and Preview Pt 2

Galatasaray vs Anderlecht is a solid match-up but Turkey is always a difficult place to visit for most travelling European sides. They are a slim 7/10 to get the result here while their Belgian counterparts are a 9/2 shot. The draw trades at 29/10 and the hosts are likely to get things taken care of here.

Juventus are up against Malmo and they trade as one of the biggest favourites of the day with a very slim 1/7 price tag being floated by the bookmakers right now. Malmo are available at a very lengthy 25/1 and they are the biggest underdogs of the Tuesday Champions League fixtures. The draw can be backed at 8/1 and that’s going to be a very tight result for anyone who actually bets it.

Liverpool are 1/5 against upstart side Ludogorets and they are more than likely to get the result here (unless they happen to miss a few penalties…) on their return to the Champions League. It will be interesting to see whether resting Raheem Sterling at the weekend will actually pay off for them. Ludogorets are a 16/1 shot with the draw available at a 13/2 price tag.

Monaco are one of the few host sides that go in as the underdogs on Tuesday and they are trading at a 12/5 price to get the better of the high-flying German side Bayer Leverkusen. You can back the Germans at a very competitive 6/5 that many punters will be jumping on to add value to their accumulator tickets. Visiting favourites can be a tricky wager, however.

Olympiakos are a 7/2 shot to get the better of Atletico Madrid - the Greek side have been known to pull off some good results but they will need to be at their absolute best to get the better of the Spanish side. Atletico are an even money proposition here and they’re worth keeping your eye on as their odds might fluctuate substantially before the match.

The final fixture is Real Madrid vs FC Basel and the Galacticos are a slim 1/7 to get the better of the 20/1 Swiss side. The draw is 9/1 for anybody feeling especially adventurous.
