We’ve got a pair of Champions League contests kicking off today and it really looks like Arsenal have it all to do today against Bayern Munich. The German side come into the match with a slim 1/3 price tag while Arsenal can be backed at a hefty 8/1 price tag. The draw can be backed at a 4/1 listing and this one is going to be especially interesting - though nobody really expects Arsene Wenger’s men to be able to actually get the result.

That really is testament to just how far Arsenal have fallen, sure they have progressed this far in the competition but when they come up against a top team they tend to get absolutely taken apart. It was a slightly different case with United who really kept up with Real Madrid for the bulk of their contest only to be done in by a moment of madness.
Bayern are virtual certainties to qualify and the bookmakers have priced them at 1/100 to progress outright to the next stage of the competition. Arsenal are trading at a 16/1 price to get the result and it will take a titanic effort to get that result here.
Mario Gomez and Marko Mandzukic are both favoured to score at any time to score with a 4/7 price tag while Claudio Pizarro can be backed at 10/11. Thomas Muller looks worth a bash at even money while Franck Ribery can be backed at 6/5.
Bayern have a whole slew of potential goalscorers here and they will look to put a few past Arsenal early to really put the fixture to bed.
