We have a couple of solid fixtures ready to roll in the Champions League knock out rounds today as Ghent take on Wolfsburg in a match-up that the bookmakers really seem to view as quite an open affair.

Ghent aren’t a regular name popping up at this stage in Europe’s top football competition but now they are about to lock horns with a perennial challenger and, though Wolfsburg get the slim edge from the bookmakers, Ghent are right up there in the mix in terms of their outright price to win. 

Look for them at a 21/10 margin, the home underdogs, but Wolfsburg aren’t exactly a lock either way a 6/4 price. The draw wll look appealling to many at a 12/5 price and that’s not a bad listing for many in the grand scheme of things either. 

Wolfsburg are a quality side and they have virtually every opportunity to get something from this one and with a comfortable victory - or even a 1-1 draw with the crucial away goal being nicked - you would have to reckon that they fancy their chances to progress through to the next stage of the Champions League in the quarter-finals. 

Should Ghent be able to get the victory or even eek out a 0-0 draw here then you would have to assume they would give themselves the edge to get the reverse over the German outfit and keep this good run of recent form going through to the next stage.
