Champions League Midweek Betting Tips PT 3
- By A.J. Ryder on February 24, 2014 19:03 GMTUnited look a bit more likely to actually qualify for the Champions League next year but they will need to put together a truly impressive run while beating out Liverpool and Spurs for that fourth spot. A race for fourth is not exactly what Manchester United should be competing for but they must make cash from chaos and ensure quality football on offer again next year in order to make those debt payments racked up by the Glazier family.

United are the 2.15 favourites to get the result here in the first leg while the Greek hosts can be backed at 3.5. The draw is a 3.4 shot and it will be interesting to see the effect of United facing off against their former keeper Roy Carroll. Many didn’t actually know he was still playing but he is on the books at Olympiacos and reckons they may be able to get a result here.
Manchester United are a 1.22 price to go through to the next stage while Olympiacos are 4.0 to secure progress through to the round of 8.
Borussia Dortmund are fairly solid favourites to take care of Zenit St Petersburg and this one will kick off early on Tuesday so be sure to adjust yourself for the Russian timezone fixture. You will find the Germans at 1.85 to get the win while Zenit are a 4.2 listing to pull off a considerable victory in front of their own fans. The draw is an enticing 3.6 and if you think Zenit really will give them a game then that’s a quality bet when you consider the price.
Dortmund are 1.20 to qualify while Zenit trade at 4.33 - clearly not out of the question but definitely with some real work to do.
