CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER FINAL ODDS AND BETTING TIPS APRIL 7

We're now down to the elite 8 teams in Europe with the quarter-final Champions League draws just announced this morning. There looks to be some exciting fixtures and the punters are anticipating plenty of action, but there has been controversy as Liverpool and Chelsea were drawn against each other for the seven thousandth year in a row.
Manchester United-Porto: United are the outright favourites to secure victory in the April 7th match-up against FC Porto. Revenge will be on the menu as Sir Alex Ferguson looks to get one over the team that sent United crashing out of the Champions League courtesy of a late freekick from Costinha.
The first leg is at Old Trafford and I can see United sealing the tie there if Porto aren't careful. If United can notch three goals and not concede here it's pretty much a done deal. Currently, United are listed at 1.43 to win the match and even shorter odds to go through to the next round as they boast a price of 1.26 in that market.
In terms of correct score, the bookies seem to be favouring either a 2-0 or a 1-0 victory to United with odds of 5.7 available on both. 3-0 United pays out at 7.4 and while that may seem slim, I don't think that scoreline is beyond United at all. If Porto notch up the away goal though, it blows the tie wide open.
RECOMMENDATION:
United are going through. 3-0 at Old Trafford pays out at 7.4.
Villareal-Arsenal: This is a tricky tie for the Gunners and I can see them having some issues if they don't get out to a quick start or put one in the net before half-time. Villareal go into the first leg as the slim favourites to secure a victory. They're currently boasting odds of 2.62 while Arsenal sit just behind at 2.86. The draw pays out at 3.15.
The tie will be especially tough because the teams play a relatively similar style. Arsenal's weakest area is their defence and I'm really having trouble convincing myself that they'll be able to stop the Yellow Submarine's attack. The favourite outcome according to the bookies is a 1-1 draw listed at an even 6.0 with 1-0 victory each-way paying out at 6.4.
Arsenal are, however, solid favourites to progress through the tie. In the "To Qualify" Market they're listed at 1.57 while Villareal sit at 2.5. I can honestly see the Gunners going to the Madrigal with the intention of securing a 0-0 result. Obviously they'll be looking for the away goal, but I think Arsene Wenger will have his eye on the second leg and will fancy going back to the Emirates Stadium with it all to play for.
RECOMMENDATION:
0-0 draw pays out at 6.4.
