From a betting perspective the Champions League is always fascinating and you can assume that there will be some solid value and a few good surprises on offer here – particularly if you are banking on going against the bigger named clubs here on Tuesday night.
PSV vs Manchester United is a really interesting fixture – not the least for Memphis Depay who faces off against his old club after putting together a really nice performance during another Champions League fixture when he helped United run riot a few weeks ago. He has cooled off a bit and looks have plenty of skill but his lack of a first touch works against him. We may see him shifted into the centre now that United have Anthony Martial and he has piles of pace and showed what he can do when he wrapped up the scoring against a beleaguered Liverpool side at the weekend when scoring a very Henry-esque type of goal.
Right now you'll find United trading as the significant favourites here despite being away from home and you'll find them listed at a 6/5 margin to get the better of PSV Eindhoven while the host club can be backed at a 12/5 margin. You'll find the draw trading at the exact same price and it will be interesting to see just how things shape up in the final hours before we actually kick off the match itself.
Manchester City vs Juventus was a really solid fixture to many when they saw this one pop up on the list and it looks like Manchester City have a chance to make a massive statement here as they want to take their English Premier League supremacy all the way to Europe as they seek to dispose of one of the top clubs in Italy.
