Champions League Tuesday Betting Preview PT 2
- By A.J. Ryder on December 11, 2018 16:39 GMTYou get the feeling that a victory here for Spurs would give them a lot of momentum as they head into the next round.
Inter Milan face off against PSV Eindhoven, who have only accumulated only a solitary point in the Champions League so far this season. The Italian side are deadlocked on seven points alongside Spurs and it’s going to be a bit of an easier task for them than their English counterparts.
Even a point for Inter would do if Spurs are unable to avoid defeat at the Camp Nou on Tuesday.
Another English side, Liverpool, are in action on Tuesday as well with a contest against Napoli set to feature. The contest is expected to be heavily slanted towards Liverpool, who now sit at the top of the English Premier League after Manchester City dropped points at home for the first time this year. Liverpool remain the only undefeated side in England at this stage in the season heading into the Christmas fixtures.
The Reds are odds-on for the victory here and you can expect them to come out and play some really good stuff to help propel them into the next stage of the Champions League. They do need a victory here in order to assure qualification for the next round of the tournament and it appears as though the bookmakers fancy them to get the result.
PSG are favoured to get the result in their contest today so it’s worth keeping your eyes on that Liverpool vs Napoli fixture.
