There are a few really interesting match-ups and only a small handful of lopsided contests so its shaping up to be a quality round of betting fixtures for those looking to have a punt on Tuesday’s action.
Galatasaray face off against Arsenal and there is an opportunity for the Gunners to get things back on track here if they are looking to attempt to salvage their season. Things have not been going well for Arsene Wenger’s men and Wenger himself is having problems retaining the support of the fans with some of the most vocal “Wenger Out” noise in years starting to be heard.
As it stands right now, Arsenal are trading at 2.40 for the away victory while the Turkish hosts are available at a 2.90 price tag and the draw trades at 3.50. There is a lot of potential here for the hosts with Arsenal not playing particularly well and Galatasaray being a tricky place to play an away match in Europe.
Liverpool also had some disappointment at the weekend with a poor 0-0 draw compounding Brendan Rodgers miseries. If the Reds are to be in the Champions League again next year they are going to have to step it up in the league and really start producing. They get the nod from the bookmakers here in their match-up against Basel.
In fact, the Reds are trading at a 1.80 price tag to get the result over Basel and they can be backed at a 4.50 margin to get the away victory here. If there ever was a time to be facing Liverpool this is probably it. The draw trades at 3.80 and you get the feeling that whomever scores first here could wind up being the victor.
