Champions League Wednesday Betting Preview Part 2

Sporting Braga host Manchester United and Sir Alex Ferguson's men will know going into this one that they don't have the best of records when playing away in Portugal. You can lock in a very short 6/5 price tag on Manchester United to get the away win here and that's going to be an interesting bet – despite United being in all sorts of excellent form right now.

The signing of Robin Van Persie has really given United an entirely new potent threat up front and they've even got Chicharito scoring goals right now too. It seems as though he's breathed entirely new life into the offensive unit at Old Trafford and United have not lacked for quality goals this season in all competitions.
Braga won't be an easy match though, that much is true, and you can bank on their 12/5 price to be an interesting outside option throughout the day. They nearly beat United last time and will be in front of their home fans again.
Van Persie to score and Manchester United to win pays off at a solid 3/1 price while Braga fans will likely opt for the 10/3 anytime goal price for Alan – who grabbed two goals last time at Old Trafford.
Celtic nearly pulled off the near-impossible last time against Barcelona at the Nou Camp and they'll be likely to come out all-guns-blazing as they will see the Catalan club as distinctly beatable this time around at home. Their fans will be able to lock in a solid price of around 9/1 pre-match, but you can expect this one to get hit early if Celtic look to come forward. This match really could be one for the in-play wagering as one or two mistakes from Celtic's defenders will pretty much end this one early one Messi gets room to operate.
Barcelona are trading at a slim 2/7 price for the outright victory here and they are 8/11 to win both halves. Samaras may be the best option for those looking to back a goal from Celtic as he will likely be taking the penalties. Look for him at a 7/2 listing to grab an anytime goal.
Chelsea face off against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday and they're at a relatively enticing price of evens to get the result at Stamford Bridge. The Ukrainian side are a 3/1 price tag for the away result but Chelsea actually look pretty good value for the win here. They'll be coming in with some momentum and they tend to look good against opposition like this.
Look for Fernando Torres and Chelsea to win at a 3/1 price tag.
Valencia take on BATE Borisov and they go in as the very short-priced favourites with a 2/7 price against the 9/1 that their opponents carry. This one is unlikely to have many surprises in it as Valencia have been doing well in their past few fixtures. Juventus are in a similar position in their match-up against Nordsjaelland and they look to be the day's biggest favourites at a 1/7 against 20/1 on the visitors.
