After a very interesting Tuesday slate of matches, we can count on several really interesting match-ups here and more than one or two opportunities for some fairly dramatic upsets may be in the cards.
With no Russian fixtures on Wednesday, all the match-ups will be kicking off at the same time and we’ve got Ajax vs Barcelona showing the Catalan club as the outright favourites despite being visitors to the Dutch club and not exactly showing their best stuff as of late in La Liga Premiera.
As it currently stands, punters will find Barcelona available at 1.36 to get the away victory while Ajax are trading at an 8.0 price tag to get the victory at home in front of their own fans at the Amsterdam ArenA. The draw is priced at around 5.50 and it might be a little trickier than Barcelona think trying to take all three points from this match.
They don’t get much closer on paper than Porto vs Athletic Bilbao with the bookmakers splitting this one right down the middle with a 2.75 price available on each side to win. This would make Porto the slim favourites in the grand scheme of things because they are away and still considered just as likely to win as their Spanish counterparts.
Expect the draw to appeal to a lot of neutral punters here with a 3.30 listing in a match where the bookies just can’t seem to separate the two sides.
Bayern Munich take on Roma and are extremely short-priced at 1.25 to get the job done here. You can back the draw at a 6.0 margin but you reckon there is only one place that the savvy punters are going on this one. The Italian side are a lot more creditable than their 12.0 margin here would suggest and you reckon there might be a few who take the odd flyer on them to upset the high-flying Germans.
