Champions Stakes 2008 at Newmarket: New Approach Odds-on Favourite

Leading bookmaker Blue Square has opened their book on this Saturday's Emirates Airline Champion Stakes at Newmarket and has made New Approach their 11/10 favourite. The Epsom Derby winner was last seen winning the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown and will be looking for his third Group One win of the season. Henry Cecil's Twice Over is next in the market at 11/2 as is Russian Cross, who aims to give France a second successive winner of the Champion Stakes, having won the race last year with Literato.
