CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE SNOOKER LATEST ODDS AND BETTING TIPS

We’ve got a number of interesting fixtures today in Championship League Snooker and 888sports, conveniently, has also released some really solid odds on all of the upcoming matches.
In the first match of the day, we have Shaun Murphy facing off against John Higgins. You’ll find that there isn’t a huge amount between the two sides, but Higgins is getting the nod from the bookmakers as the 8/11 favourite to win. Murphy is trading at evens for this one. I think the first frame is absolutely crucial here, but value punters will likely side with Higgins despite the short price.
Ali Carter then takes on Ryan Day and there is absolutely nothing between the two with Carter getting the slightest of edges with a 4/5 price against Day’s 10/11. With both players at odds-on prices this is one for the purists and neutrals are advised to spend their money elsewhere. This one could go either way.
Stephen Maguire takes on Ali Carter and Maguire is a distinct favourite here at 4/6. Ali Carter can be backed at a 11/10 price tag and he will be the fresher of the two with Carter having just played Ryan Day. Maguire looks a solid selection, but my best advice is to keep your eye on Carter’s performance in his match just before this one. An emphatic performance will likely mean two wins on the bounce.
John Higgins takes on Mark Selby after his first match of the day and you’ll find Higgins again getting the odds in his favour. He’s trading at around 8/11 with Selby listed at evens for the outright victory. That’s about right, price-wise, and I’m actually tempted to put together a John Higgins double.
You’ll be looking at odds around 5/2 for Higgins to win both of his matches on a double.
