CHELSEA VS. ARSENAL- DROGBA FAVOURITE TO SCORE- GOALSCORER ODDS

The Blues play host to Arsenal at Stamford Bridge this afternoon in what is undoubtedly the matchup of the weekend
In a week that has seen both team stumble in the Premiership, both teams will be looking for the in here this afternoon as they seek to challenge for the early season bragging rights for the Premiership title
Arsenal come off a 3-2 shock loss to minnows West Brom last weekend, while Chelsea were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Manchester City
While Chelsea’s perfect start to the Premier League may have suffered its first hiccup, the team’s record at Stamford Bridge is something of note.
In fact, so strong is the Chelsea XI at home that the last time they conceded a goal at Stamford Bridge was in March- a 7-1 hammering of Aston Villa!
This combined with the incredible achievement of having scoring 35 in the same game span (seven games), coupled with an incredible 68 goals at home last season!
Simply put this is a team that needs to be taken with serious caution, and as such are heavy favourites to triumph this afternoon.
Due to injuries, Arsenal are suffering heavily up front, with Walcott, van Persie and Cesc Fabregas all part of the walking wounded.
Not surprisingly, Chelsea are dead on favourites this afternoon, with there being little doubt that they will prevail
On the goalscoring odds, there is some money to be made with Didier Drogba leading the pack at 1.91 to score at anytime and 4.5 to open- both great bets when considering the form of this great striker
Frenchman Nicolas Anelka is next up at odds of 2.75, and 7.0 to either open or close proceedings.
For the outsider amongst you, don’t be surprised to see Michael Essien pounce this afternoon, and if he does you will find William Hill putting him at 4.33- a great return on a great player
For Arsenal, things are looking rather thin up front with French-Moroccan Marouane Chamakh tops at 3.75, and 9.0 to open
However, if you are wanting to back experience as well as class Andrei Arshavin is a great back at 4.5
Today's clash will not provide the thrillers that have been witnessed in the past, the Arsenal side is simply too depleted to take on the likes of this Blues XI and as such will leave with nothing today
Betting Tip: Anelka to score a 2.75
