CHELSEA VS LIVERPOOL BETTING TIPS
After Manchester United scraped a draw with Sunderland on Saturday, the #1 position in the English Premier League is completely up for grabs and Chelsea will top the league should they triumph. William Hill favours Chelsea to win at 11/10 while Liverpool are 13/5 for the away victory. The draw, which would see United retain their status as pace-setters, is available at an 11/5 price. Interestingly enough, the lowest-priced correct score call is a 1-1 draw at 5/1 with Chelsea 1-0 at 11/2. Chelsea 2-0 pays out at 8/1, but I see both teams scoring. I'd stay away from anything involving a zero and I like 2-1 each way at 15/2 and 10/1, respectively. Chelsea 3-2 pays a very solid 25/1 and Liverpool by the same margin pays out at 28/1. Basically, you need to decide whether you think this is going to be a forgettable match or a classic. I don't think there will be much middle ground... I think this could be either 0-0 or 3-2 if you get my meaning. Incidentally, the 0-0 draw is short-priced at 7/1. Didier Drogba is back for this one and he's 5/1 to score first or last and 5/4 anytime. Nicolas Anelka is 2nd favourite at 13/2 first/last and 15/8 to strike at any time. Lampard is 11/4 anytime and Salomon Kalou is at 10/3 any time. Fernando Torres is, obviously, Liverpool's favoured first goalscorer at 6/4 and 11/2 first or last. Steven Gerrard can be backed at an enticing 8/1 first or last and 11/4 anytime. Keep your eye on Glen Johnson at 7/1 anytime and 20/1 first or last. William Hill have a number of combination bets and enhanced multiples available for this Big 4 Clash. The way things have been going in this year's Premiership, I think we'll see big drama and this could be one of the highlights of the year. Or a dour 0-0 affair. Either way, we'll be making some bank.
