Chelsea vs Manchester United Betting Preview PT 1
- By A.J. Ryder on February 27, 2021 00:01 GMTThere's some really solid action set to unfold in the English Premier League this weekend but the marquee fixture is definitely Manchester United's trip to Stamford Bridge to take on their rivals from the blue side of London. Never an easy contest for either side, this one is going to attract a lot of attention - and a significant amount of betting volume on Sunday.

Chelsea parted company with their old manager (and former club legend) Frank Lampard in early January and replaced him with Thomas Tuchel, who has done rather well since he was handed the reigns by Roman Abramovich.
Tuchel also has the benefit of coming into this match with few injury concerns while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has question marks over top of several key players with Paul Pogba definitely ruled out on Sunday while Scott McTominay, Donny Van De Beek and Edinson Cavani also up in the air over their availability.
Bruno Fernandes has done so much of the heavy lifting for United over the season and he shows no signs of letting up with several man-of-the-match performances over the last few weeks. It's difficult to overstate just how important Fernandes is to this United side and virtually everybody seems to think that him receiving the captain's armband is only a few months away.
The match itself will be a statement of intent for both sides with Chelsea hovering around the periphery of the European places and finding themselves competing with Liverpool and Arsenal to catch up on the likes of United, Leicester and (for some reason) West Ham to secure themselves Champions League football next season.
