Currently regarded as the second favourite, this horse is well worth a punt at the right price. A good outside bet could be Le Duc, his 3rd place finish in the Arkle last year was very impressive and he has the talent to spring a surprise in this race. "Personally, if I was having a punt on the Cheltenham Cup my money would have to be on Monkerhostin, he has an outstanding chance and despite being the favourite his price is still good enough for a handsome return if he wins. On the other hand, I'll be betting against Farmer Jack; he has been plagued by injury problems of late and his form is simply not good enough coming into this race."
