CHER LLOYD 5/1 TO WIN X FACTOR WITH MATT CARDLE 3/1 FAVOURITE

The odds for 2010 X Factor have certainly been rearranged a bit now that boot camp is finished and the contest itself is getting underway in earnest. It’s an interesting state of affairs, odds-wise, and it looks as though fans of Cher Lloyd are able to lock in a very solid price of 5/1 on the young singing sensation.
The fact that Cher Lloyd will be mentored by Cheryl Cole adds an extra element to things and many X Factor observers think this one could come down to a dogfight between Cher Lloyd and Matt Cardle.
As it currently stands, Lloyd is considered to be the third favourite to win X Factor with popular bookmaker William Hill. The current betting favourite for X Factor looks to be Matt Cardle and he’s a short 3/1 to take the competition and he has surged into the leaders position based on his excellent performance during the show’s boot camp phase.
Gamu Nhengu is available at a 9/2 price tag and the Zimbabwean is looking like a solid, though perhaps a bit underwhelming, contender. Rebecca Ferguson trades at 6/1 with Aidan Grimshaw and 1 Direction trading at 7/1.
Those six competitors look like they will be the ones contesting this down to the wire as the odds take a big jump to Katie Waissel at 14/1 with Bell Amie at 16/1. You can also lock in a 16/1 price on Nicolo Festa.
William Hill is also laying odds at 1/4 that the X Factor winner will boast the 2010 Christmas Number One single and, while the odds may look a bit short to you, you can rest assured that if Cher Lloyd winds up winning that this likely won’t even be a contest... That is unless Rage Against the Machine show up again.
Cheryl Cole (or Cheryl Tweedy- William Hill seems to be using both monikers) is considered to be the favourite for winning manager- likely based on having two of the top three in her camp.
