Colombia vs England Betting Preview PT 1
- By A.J. Ryder on July 3, 2018 16:48 GMTWe are down to the final contest in the World Cup 2018 round of 16 and it looks like it's going to be a real barn burner as we close out this section of this exciting competition. England come into the match having lost their last contest against Belgium but that one was a dead rubber we're both sides were trying to be a strategic as possible about who they will end up facing off against in the next section of the World Cup.
Belgium were able to get the better of Japan - a team who acquitted themselves very well as they usually tend to do on the big stage at these types of tournaments.
Columbia have had an interesting run in the World Cup as well and they posted number of top quality players and if put together some good performances so far in the World Cup.
One of the most notable factors in Columbia's favor is that they have only allowed to go so far in the entire competition - and both of those came when they were reduced to 10 men playing in their first group stage contest against Japan. It's going to be interesting to see how they string themselves together and what type of formation they actually deploy.
Going into the contest most European bookmakers See England as the distinct favorites to win the match - but it's worth noting that they are not listed on price to win this contest. Columbia look like a team that will probably be a better value wager for the neutrals but you really get the feeling that this is the type of match that could be all about in play wagering since it's tough to get a feel for how this one might pan out at the outset.
