Czech Republic vs England Betting Preview PT 1
- By A.J. Ryder on October 8, 2019 18:46 GMTEngland’s perennial opponents the Czech Republic are back again for more this time and it appears as though the bookmakers have plenty of confidence in the Three Lions ability to get the job done this time around. England have been playing much better stuff since they must up the last time and, though they are the away side here, they get the edge in the markets going forward.

England are facing off against Portugal in a friendly contest with an eye towards setting themselves up for this big clash and it probably shouldn’t be as big of a match as it appears on paper, but here we are.
Right now, the bookmakers are floating England around a 5/11 price tag and that could go even shorter as we get closer to the kick-off in this big Euro 2020 match-up. The Czech Republic trade at a hefty 7/1 so if you think that Gareth Southgate’s men might not be able to get the job done here then you’re looking at a rather tidy payout this time.
The draw can be backed around a 7/2 margin and that would probably be an alright scoreline for both sides but you reckon that England will definitely be playing for the win in this contest.
One really gets the feeling that the first goal of this match could really decide the contest and you’ll find that the English side are amongst the major favourites to get the opening goal of the contest.
