Czech Republic vs England Betting Preview PT 2
- By A.J. Ryder on October 8, 2019 18:47 GMTHarry Kane is probably not a big surprise at the top of the list and the bookmakers have him available around an 11/4 price tag to score the opener in this one with plenty of interesting permutations based on the actual starting lineup. Backing Kane at this point is relatively safe since if he’s genuinely fit then he’s going to be playing, end of story.

Kane’s strike partner is a bit more of a tough task and it looks like they think Callum Wilson is the next best priced contender to open the scoring and you’ll find him trading around a 4/1 price tag with most major bookmakers.
Marcus Rashford is in the mix for a starting spot here but the Manchester United forward has been woefully short of form as of late and a run in an England shirt might help him get his confidence back or he could wind up playing more ineffective, too-enthusiastic football where he arrives a bit too late or simply blasts the ball over the net instead of hitting the target - this has been the bulk of his work under manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and Southgate simply may have other plans for him here.
Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham, on the other hand, has been a real revelation this year and he’s put together several really good performances for the Blues over the last couple of months and an opportunity with England could be just the ticket fort he emerging youngster.
Raheem Sterling is definitely your outside bet here and he’s looking like a lot of value around 4/1 since his ability to arrive late in danger areas makes him on of the more deadly England midfielders since Frank Lampard.
