DANCING WITH THE STARS BETTING ODDS: HASSELHOFF AT 11/2, BRISTOL PALIN AT 25/1
The UK bookmakers are jumping all over the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars and betting markets are already available on a number of different aspect of the show, though virtually everybody will be focusing on the outright winner market at this point in time.
As it currently stands, Jennifer Grey (of Red Dawn and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off) is the betting favourite to win 2010 Dancing With the Stars and you can back her to do at an 11/4 price with William Hill.
Mid-90s singings sensation Brandy is considered to be the second favourite to win Dancing With the Stars and you can back her to pull it off at a 3/1 price. She is quite competitive at this stage.
David Hasselhoff is certainly the highest-profile competitor here and if he can stay sober then he’s a major threat to pull off the victory as he has a large block of voters who will only vote for him. You can back the Hoff at 11/2 to win Dancing With the Stars.
Audrina Partridge is the sort of competitor who thrives on shows like this and she’s trading at 7/1 to win DWTS.
Rick Fox and Kurt Warner represent the athletes contingent and they’re priced at 7/1 and 8/1, respectively. Mike Sorrentino is at 9/1 and Michael Bolton can be backed at 12/1. One would be interested in seeing Michael Bolton’s odds to dance to a Michael Bolton song. The flaxen-haired contemporary sensation is trading at a 12/1 price with William Hill.
The odds then take a big jump to Sarah Palin’s Daughter Bristol Palin at odds of 25/1 to win the show. It’s especially interesting to see her on here as at least everybody else has accomplished something to get on the show- all Bristol Palin seems to have done is gotten pregnant and kept the kid while having a mother famous for all the wrong reasons.
Margaret Cho is trading at 28/1 and she’ll likely hang around for a while as she has a large voting demographic while Kyle Massey and Florence Henderson look the weakest links at 50/1.
