David Cameron odds for Tory Leadership shorten

Further indications that David Cameron has wooed the support of Tory Party members have caused his odds to shortened further in the Tory Leader race and William Hill have cut his odds again from 4/5 to 4/6 favourite, with David Davis lengthening again from 7/4 to 2/1, with Ken Clarke at 11/2, Liam Fox 9/1 and Malcolm Rifkind 100/1 outsider.'The momentum is well and truly in Cameron's favour and the betting is reflecting that. There is some support for Davis - notably a bet of £2000 over the weekend - but Cameron is now almost as hot a favourite as Davis was pre-Conference. He seems only to have the traditional curse which prevents favourites from winning this race, to overcome' said William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe, who predicted that 'up to two million could be riding on the outcome of the eventual vote to decide the leader - a record for any race to lead a political Party'
