December on Deal or no Deal
You can play Deal or No deal now at Ladbrokes Games Friday 1st December, Ian NealeIan, a professional salmon and trout fly fishing guide and instructor, suffered a terrible blow in round one by picking Joey to open his box worth £250,000! Ian quickly made up for this by opening mostly blue boxes which contained £500, £750, £1000 and £100. The banker then made Ian a mere offer of £2,500, to which he replied NO DEAL.Round 2 kicked off to a better start with box 22 opened by Claudine containing 10p, but to Ian's disappointment box 4 opened by Rachael contained a red, £35,000, again Ian repaired the mistake and Danny revealed his box which contained 50p. The banker came in with a new and more profitable offer of £8,400, but Ian once again said NO DEAL.Round 3 was not quite as lucky, as box 17 contained £75,000, this was followed by £1 and £5000. The banker's third offer rose only slightly from the previous offer to £12,500. Ian certain that he could do better stuck with NO DEAL.Unfortunately his luck wasn't about to change as in round four Ian opened £250, £100,000 and 1p. The bankers offer fell to £6,400 and Ian unimpressed, went NO DEAL. Continuing on a downwards slope £50,000; £5 and £15,000 were opened. The banker's fifth offer went down to £5,733 precisely, and Ian sure he could turn it around uttered for a fifth time NO DEAL.With not many boxes left to open Ian launched into round six nicely by opening up boxes containing £50, £10 and £10,000, the banker's offer rose to £10,500. With Ian knowing there was a chance that he could double his money, he bravely told the banker NO DEAL. The banker then swooped in and offered Ian a swap; confident that his box contained £20,000 Ian selected NO SWAP. The final box was unveiled to contain £3000, and Ian who decided to keep his own box won £20,000. Well played!Thursday 7th December, Michael WoolleyMike, a former butcher, came into the game with three reds and two blues, £10, 50p, £35,000, £1000 and £3000. The first offer from the banker was in the form of a swap. Mike swapped box 2 for box 11.Round 2 began with Mikes old box, box 2 containing 1p - Well swapped! This was followed by £250 and £750. After an all blue round the banker put in a generous offer of £22,000. Mike unphased chose NO DEAL. In round 3 Mike opened £1, 10p and a big loss of £75,000. The banker came in with an offer of £26,500. Mike gave in and struck a DEAL.With Mike now out of the game round 4 continued with the opening of boxes containing £500, £15,000 and £50,000, mostly reds and looking bad. The bankers offer would have been £ 21,000. The next round was full of mostly reds again, £10,000, £5 and the big one, £250,000. The bankers offered would have then dropped rapidly to only £11,000. The final round wrapped it all up with a bad pick again of £100,000, £5,000 and £100, leaving the bankers final offer at £6,500, at this point Mike would have dealt. Mike's box, number 11, contained £20,000, Mike wins £26,500. Nicely done.Monday 11th December, Jim (James) HarveyJim, a full-time life skills instructor working with autistic adolescents, got off to a bad start in the game by opening up £10,000, £250,000, £500, £50,000 and £100. The bankers offer was a very low £1,000. Jim went with NO DEAL. Round 2 was looking a lot better with two blues and one red and the banker put in a healthier offer of £9,900. Still NO DEAL.Again in round 3 Jim pulled out all the stops with two blues and one red putting the banker in a difficult position. £14,500 was offered. Jim kept going and stuck with NO DEAL. Round 4 kicked in with things looking grim as Jim picked boxes containing £3,000, £100,000 and 50p. Too many reds and the bankers offer slumped to £8,500.Round 5 and Jim hit £15,000, £75,000 and £5, not looking good at all. The bankers offer came in at only £1,500. Jim hoping for a change in luck said NO DEAL. With the £250,000 still uncovered the banker gave a higher offer of £13,000 which was quickly amended to £15,000 in the hope that Sarah would fold. She stuck with NO DEAL.Round 4 saw Sarah sink as box 15, opened by Frank hid the £250,000 that Sarah had been waiting for. Seeing this the banker dropped his offer to a mere £5,000. NO DEAL. Onto round 5 and two more reds were uncovered, £1,000 and £15,000 along with a blue £5. An offer was made by the banker of £7,000. Sarah still awaiting a better deal stuck with NO DEAL. Nearing the end of the game and the £250,000 still not showing up, the banker's next offer to Claudine came in at a whopping £107,031. Claudine realising the gamble accepted her limits and struck a DEAL.Claudine's box 22 contained £250,000!!! She could have doubled her money and more if she had took the risk.
