Djokovic vs Zverev Betting Preview
- By A.J. The current World #1 Novak Djokovic is trading as the significant betting favourite to win this contest as he faces a stiff challenge from upstart Alexander Zverev.
There is a lot to like about this one and, while it may not be a particularly lucrative outing for punters looking to back Djokovic to win outright in the pre-match wagering, there will be plenty of options available out there for those looking to take a bash on the live markets.
As it currently stands, Djokovic is trading at heavily odds-on with a very slim price being floated by most major bookmakers. Zverev is trading at a very high price and could be offering anywhere between 400% to 500% returns should be able to get the victory here.
Also trading at an odds-on price is the Djokovic to win 2-0 wager and you’ll find that a slightly more enticing bet as there are a lot of punters who clearly view him as the superior player and he looks likely to sweep things up relatively easily here.
A Djokovic to win 2-1 margin also looks pretty good and would bring about an impressive payday if you fancy Alexander Zverev to get the better of him in at least one set.
The main games handicap has been set at 4.5 for Djokovic so there’s plenty of money to be made in that market as well.
