ENGLAND V PAKISTAN 3RD ODI BETTING
England resume their rivalries with Pakistan today following a short break from the five-match ODI series which England lead 2-0. A win for the hosts at The Oval today would see them take an unassailable 3-0 series lead and wrap up what has been a hugely positive summer for the England cricket team in all formats of the game.
Pakistan won the toss at lunch time and Shahis Afridi has decided to bat first. The big-hitting Abdul Razzaq comes into the team in place of Mohammad Irfan for the visitors whilst Paul Collingwood is replaced by Luke Wright after he picked up a virus prior to the game.
Pakistan have gradually improved in the two ODI games to date if they can continue on that upward trend then odds of 23/10, with Sportingbet, on them clawing their way back into this series look to be worth backing. England are 1/3 with the same bookmaker
In football, there is good news for Manchester United and Antonio Valencia after Sir Alex Ferguson revealed that the winger could be back in action by February. There were initial fears that the Ecuadorian would miss the whole season following an injury picked up against Rangers in midweek.
