ENGLAND VS EGYPT LIVE BETTING - WAYNE ROONEY SET TO START

We’re just under an hour away from kick-off in today’s big International friendly and there are plenty of stellar live betting options available for today’s match. It has been confirmed that Wayne Rooney will start the match after shaking off a knee issue. Here is the England line-up for the match against Egypt:
Green, Brown, Upson, Terry, Baines, Walcott, Lampard Barry, Gerrard, Rooney, Defoe.
I find the selection of Theo Walcott intriguing and I think that Fabio Capello is hoping for another Croatia-like performance. Personally, I think Theo has about 45 minutes to impress or he will likely be subbed off for James Milner (who I think has already booked his spot to South Africa). I like the addition of Leighton Baines at left-back and I think this is a fairly big debut for him. I do like the fact that we no longer have to put up with the tedious “Lampard and Gerrard can’t be in the same team” foolishness that has dominated the build-up to these types of matches for quite some time.

Ladbrokes is listing England at a starting price of 1.4 to win the match and I expect that price to drop sharply if England come out with some serious verve. I had initially suspected that Rooney would start on the bench, and I still don’t think he’s worth backing on a hat-trick as he likely won’t play more than an hour or so. I think that Capello wants to have a closer look at the Rooney/Defoe partnership today. The Egyptians are listed at 7.0 to win the match and the draw pays out at 4.5.
England to win with 3 goals or more scored in the match pays 2.2 while England to win with 2 or fewer goals scored in the match trades at 3.25. 4+ goals in the entire match pays out at 3.0.
England are a slim 1.36 to score first while Egypt are listed at 3.6. If you think that England are going to get an emphatic win here, you can back them on the handicap with England (-1.0) listed at an odds-on price of 1.9. Egypt (+1.0) trades at 3.0. England are listed at evens to score in both halves and they are also odds-on to keep a clean sheet at 1.61.
A penalty being awarded pays out at the usual 3.0 while England to win to nil pays out at 1.8.
Ladbrokes live betting is always a solid experience and you can count on quick payouts during the match. You’ll be able to bet on over a dozen different markets during the match so be sure to check out the goalscorer markets once the game gets going. Usually, I suggest waiting about 10-15 minutes to gauge the rhythm of the game before committing any serious cash to any in-play markets.
Wayne Rooney to score first must be set to go here and I like him at a 3.75 price.
