ENGLAND VS GERMANY 2010 WORLD CUP KNOCKOUT ROUND LATEST BETTING ODDS

If you can believe it, England are considered the slim favourites to win their massive knockout stage clash with Germany on June 27. Popular UK bookmaker Ladbrokes has priced England at 2.6 to win the match against this up-and-coming German side.
You'll find Joachim Low's side trading at 2.75 while the draw is available at 3.2. I think the draw will be a popular selection here and I could actually see the price coming down a bit as many English fans might be resigned to penalties- which would include a draw.

Speaking of penalties, you'll find it listed at the usual price of 3.0 to be awarded and scored so it doesn't look like the bookies expect penalties with any more frequency than they usually do.
How's this for a special bet? If England score a goal with the ball coming off the line crossbar and crossing the line, you'll be getting paid out at an 11.0 price.
The bookmakers don't favour goals in this match and the over/under at 2.5 favours the under and prices it at a 1.53 listing. The over is available at 2.37.
England are priced at even money to score the first goal while Germany are trading at 2.1. No goals in the match is priced at 7.0.
In regards of outright qualification, you'll find England priced at 1.8 while Germany are trading at even money.
Wayne Rooney's odds to score against Germany are no longer listed at odds-on prices. He is trading at 2.37 to score a goal at any time. The bookies have listedt Miroslav Klose (who returns for this match) alongside Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe at 3.0 to score anytime. Cacau is at 3.5 alongside Lukas Podolski, Steven Gerrard and Emile Heskey.
I have a feeling that defenders scoring goals might be an integral part of this match and Philip Lahm trades at 13.0 to score anytime while John Terry can be backed at 10.0.
It's interesting to think that England are considered the favourites for this one, but that is likely because it's priced out by an English-facing bookmaker. I think its a winnable fixture for England and if they can keep 11 men on the field and keep themselves organized then they could certainly grind this one out. What an atmosphere it's going to be though.
Just as an aside, the odds of a 5-1 result for England are a massive 101.0.
