ENGLAND VS HUNGARY LIVE BETTING ODDS AND STARTING LINEUPS
We've got a very interesting starting lineup today and I think it will have paid dividends for anybody who decided to wait to place any goalscorer wagers on today's England vs Hungary match.
The starting lineup for England is:
Hart, G Johnson, Terry, Jagielka, A Cole; Barry, Lampard, Gerrard, Walcott, A Johnson, Rooney.
Theo Walcott gets a very big start here and I think that the pacey Arsenal player will be looking to impress. Phil Jagielka getting the nod to start in the middle is another interesting development. Adam Johnson gets a huge opportunity here and you can bank on him to give 110%. Rooney will be looking to tee him up for most of the match.
I'm encouraged to see a 4-5-1 being deployed. We should have played that formation in the World Cup.
Personally, I don't expect Lampard or Barry to play more than 45 minutes and we should see some of the younger players hit the pitch in the second half, especially if England take a lead into half-time.
William Hill has priced England at 1/4 to win the match outright with the draw at 9/2 and the Hungarians at a 10/1 price tag.
Now, getting down to the essential bets here, the goalscorer odds are lining up as follows. Wayne Rooney's odds to score today are priced at 8/11 anytime with a 3/1 listing to score first or last. Rooney is 3/1 to hit two or more and 16/1 to hit a hat-trick.
Adam Johnson is priced at 11/4 to score anytime and I think that's a very solid bet. He's 8/1 to score first or last and 12/1 to get two or more.
Frank Lampard's odds to score are priced at 6/4 anytime, while Steven Gerrard is trading at 15/8. Gareth Barry is priced at 11/2.
It is usually helpful to keep your eye on John Terry, who can be deadlu from set-pieces. If you're looking for a first-rate anytime goalscorer price, Phil Jagielka at 12/1 is an excellent bet- he's easily one of the most versatile players in the squad.
William Hill will be offering up live betting for this one, so be sure to check out the live odds!
