ENGLAND VS IRELAND 2010 SIX NATIONS BETTING ODDS AND TIPS

England are the slimmest of favourites in their Six Nations fixture against the Irish today with bookmaker William Hill listing England at 1.95 with Ireland paying even money. You can take England on a (-1.0) handicap and get them at evens if you're looking for the extra decimal there.

The favoured winning margin is just 1-5 for England at 5.5 with 6-10 at 6.5. 11-15 is listed at 9.0 and if England really run away with this one, that could prove to be a very solid bet. Ireland are virtually the same price to win by identical margins.
Examining the tryscorer markets for England, you'll find Mark Cueto as the favoured scorer at 3.0 anytime and 12.0 first or last. Ugo Monye is at 3.25 anytime and Delon Armitage trades at 4.0. Riki Flutey, Mathew Tait, Toby Flood and Ben Foden can all be backed at 4.33.
The Irish are expected to look to Tommy Bowe at 3.0 and Keith Earls can be backed at 3.25 alongside Andrew Trimble. Brian O'Driscoll is a good bet at 3.5 while Gordon D'Arcy is well-priced at 4.5.
The total match points market is interesting as well with under 37 at evens and over 39 at evens as well. 37-39 inclusive trades at 8.5.
Theres a few different handicaps for this one and England (-11.0) is a solid 4.33. England (-6.0) is a solid 2.75 while Ireland (-4.0) is listed at 2.37.
Both teams are at evens to be leading at half-time, a half-time draw trades at 9.0.
This is a difficult one to predict with both teams able to win it if they play their best. You sort of get the feeling that this one is going to come down to somebody making a key mistake somewhere. It all depends on who is able to capitalize on slip-ups by the other side. This could be one for the in-play punter.
