ENGLAND VS MONTENEGRO EURO 2012 GOALSCORER BETTING ODDS
We're just a day or so away from the widely-anticipated fixture between England and Montenegro in the Euro 2012 qualifiers. It pretty much goes without saying that the English are big favourites here with William Hill pricing them at a slim 1/4 to win the match outright while Montenegro trade at a 14/1 listing. The draw is available at 4/1.
With a few unconventional call-ups for England in this one (okay, well, just Kevin Davies) the goalscorer odds are going to be especially hot bets.
Wayne Rooney is the favoured anytime goalscorer with an 8/13 price. He's trading at 11/4 to score first or last and 11/4 to grab two or more goals. The hat-trick is paying out at 12/1 and you can only imagine the headlines if he pulled that off.
Darren Bent is the second favoured goalscorer with a 4/5 price tag anytime and he's at 10/3 to score first or last.
Peter Crouch is listed at even money to score anytime and he's 4/1 to score first or last. Steven Gerrard can be backed at 5/1 first or last and 5/4 anytime.
Kevin Davies odds to score against Montenegro are the same as Steven Gerrard while Adam Johnson is just a step behind at a 2/1 price.
Jack Wilshere is expected to play some part in this fixture and he'll be looking to build on his last outing, where it was clear he was still trying to find his footing.
For Montenegro, they'll be turning to Mirko Vucinic at 10/3 anytime and 9/1 first or last. Radomir Dalovic is sitting at 7/2 anytime alongside Andrija Delibasic.
There are a few goals expected in this one with the bookies setting the over/under at 2.5 and the over getting the edge at 4/6 against the 11/10 under.
