The two sides have a storied rivalry and nothing would make the Scots happier than being able to pull off a dramatic victory at Wembley stadium.

England are obviously the significant favourites here and you reckon they will see the bulk of the action but most bookmakers have them at a relatively tepid ⅓ or even ¼ listing for the win.
That’s obviously a bit short for many punters to back them to win only, but those who think the Scots are ready to spring a surprise are looking at a hefty payout as high as 12/1 with several top bookmakers. One would have to reckon that they would view a draw as a moral victory as well and the 9/2 price on that will likely attract plenty of attention as well.
The favoured correct score outcome appears to be a 2-0 result to England and you’ll find that priced around a 5/1 margin with several top bookmakers. The 1-0 result is priced almost identically but a few books go as high as 6/1 there. The shortest priced result for the Scots would be a 1-1 draw at a 12/1 listing while a 1-0 result to Scotland can be backed as high as a 29/1 price tag though most books float it around 20/1.
The bookmakers definitely seem to be taking a stand that Scotland won’t score a goal in this one as the “both teams to score” market shows the “no” option at ½ while “yes” can be backed at a best price of around 6/4.
The first goalscorer market looks especially interesting if you’re an England fan as one gets the feeling that this game could be a tight and rather physical affair - both sets of supporters will be expecting their side to show no quarter on the tackles or at set pieces.
