England vs Slovenia Betting Tips PT 2

That's going to be a major media talking point for the next couple of hours during the build up to England's kick-off against Slovenia.

The first goalscorer market is an interesting one here and you can expect the wagering to be especially competitive – even once we actually get a look at the team sheets. This match is likely to be a bit more nip and tuck than England would like it and you probably shouldn't expect a really open game – unless somehow removing Rooney from the equation is the catalyst that predicates England taking the match by a 4-0 margin.
Daniel Sturridge and Marcus Rashford are both expected to be competitive to notch the first goal and obviously both would be good candidates to start the match. You'll find them both trading around a 7/2 or 9/2 margin depending on whom you're wagering with and most bookmakers see very little between the two.
Jamie Vardy is also in the mix here and he is priced similarly to the other two though you reckon tha only two of those three will probably start the match. Vardy came on later on in the contest against Malta and that could be Southgate's plan here once again.
Theo Walcott is in the mix at about a 6/1 price tag to grab the opening goal of the contest and that's not a bad wager either but Walcott tends to either blow hot or cold so if you're considering backing him, you might do well to wait about five minutes or so and then make a live wager if he looks to be giving the defenders a tough time out there.
The really big and interesting story would be if England were mired in a boring 0-0 draw or even losing to the Slovenians and Rooney was able to come off the bench to inspire England and bag a goal. Wayne Rooney to be the first goalscorer in the match despite not being set to start is currently paying out at a 6/1 margin.
