ENGLAND VS SLOVENIA PREDICTIONS AND WORLD CUP BETTING PREVIEW

This is the crunch match for England and it was all supposed to be so EASY. Regardless, England will have to put their dismal performance agains Algeria to rest and focus on the future. The healing has already begun with Wayne Rooney issuing an apology for criticizing the boo-ing fans.

Personally, if I'd have spent a few thousand pounds to travel halfway around the world to support a team that produced that type of display, I'd have given them a rollicking as well.
It is encouraging when you look at the odds for this must-win fixture as England are priced as the 4/9 favourites to win. That's the longest odds they've been trading at since the World Cup began, so I'm going to take that as a good omen. If you fancy Slovenia to get the job done you can back the win at 11/2 or the draw at an 3/1 price.
The over/under is at 2.5 and it's nearly dead-even. The under 2.5 goals selection pays out at 4/5 while the over 2.5 is priced at 10/11.
You can back England on a (-1.0) handicap at 13/10 and if they win this I think they will do it by some distance. Notice I'm saying if, at this point.
I really think that something was off with the England side during the Algeria match and I don't know if there's a dressing room war going on or what but the players didn't really look particularly friendly with each other. I wonder what the Steven Gerrard/John Terry situation is like but it's sort of a shot in the dark at this point.
Wayne Rooney is also price at his longest anytime goalscorer odds of the tournament and he's listed at 10/11 to get a goal at any point in the match. I think we might see a 4-5-1 and that would have him up there at the front of the attack leading the line where he should be. Wayne Rooney is 7/2 to get the first goal and I think he's a good bet for that because I think he's going to come out like a house on fire in the next match.
Rooney knows how badly he came off by criticizing the well-justified boos of the frustrated England fans. The only way he can win back the hearts of the public is to come out and perform to the level we all know he can- and then ratchet that up to a new level. I think it's now or never for Wayne Rooney and this next match could have a very large part in defining his long-term legacy. Make no mistake about it.
Wayne Rooney is 9/2 to score two or more goals and 20/1 to get what would be a very famous hat-trick.
Wayne Rooney to score and England to win pays out at a 13/8 margin and that's quite plausible. Rooney is integral to England's chances and I genuinely don't see Capello benching him or anything like that.
My scorecast selection: Wayne Rooney/England 3-2 @ 150/1. If you want to add a some crazy value and you think the next match is going to be a classic- try Milivoje Novakovic/England 3-2 @ 450/1.
