ENGLAND VS SLOVENIA WORLD CUP 2010 GROUP C BETTING TIPS

While England's 2nd match of the group is still a few days off, it really can't come soon enough for pensive fans of the Three Lions. While the draw with the United States wasn't the unmitigated disaster that some observers are making it out to be, it really just means that there's no margin for error in this one. 

England's odds to beat Slovenia are trading at 1.4 with popular UK bookmaker Ladbrokes. You'll find Slovenia trading at 8.0 while a draw is priced at 4.5. 
The correct score betting doesn't really indicate that they think it will be an emphatic victory for England, even if they beat Slovenia. They are trading at 6.0 to win either 1-0 or 2-0 and they're 8.0 to win 2-1. England trade at 9.0 to win 3-0.
I'm hoping that England go out and get a win they can gain confidence from, and I also get the feeling that Fabio Capello might be telling the England players to run up the score as this group may come down to goal difference. Expect this one to be the higher-scoring affair. 
England to beat Slovenia 4-0 pays out at 19.0 and it would be just like our boys to follow a disappointing draw with an outsized victory that is probably more than they deserve. 5-0 to England is at 67.0. 
England to win both halves is priced at 1.9 and that's a pretty good price. If England aren't winning at half-time, I can only imagine the controversy. I think the boos may actually drown out the vuvuzuela's.
I think that we may see England switch to a 4-5-1 with Rooney playing up top. The issue in the last match was that Rooney was dropping so deep every time to get the ball that the actual good through balls that Rooney should have gotten wind up going to Emile Heskey. Joe Cole on the left would be helpful as well.
