ENGLAND VS SOUTH AFRICA SUPER 8'S BETTING TIPS

England face off against their toughest test of the ICC World Twenty20 as they take on an in-form South Africa side who are the current favourites to win the tournament. Carrying outright odds of 5/4, England appear to have a real chance according to the bookmakers, but South Africa's 4/7 price belies a team who know how to get the job done in twenty20. Kevin Pietersen is expected to do the business for Paul Collingwood's side and he is listed at 3/1 to be named England's top Batsman. Ravi Bopara carries a 10/3 price while Luke Wright, who has been nothing short of impressive so far, can be backed at 7/2. Robert Key is 9/2 while Owais Shah is listed at 11/2. Graeme Smith is the Saffers main threat with a 10/3 price. Jacques Kallis is listed at 7/2 while AB de Villiers and Herschelle Gibbs are both sitting at 4/1. JP Duminy is 6/1 and Albie Morkel, Justin Ontong and Robin Peterson are all deadlocked at 10/1. The Proteas are favourites to have the most sixes and the highest opening partnership at 8/11 and 4/6, respectively. Personally, I think that England are more than capable of winning this fixture and it will be up to the openers to get them off to a proper start. Stuart Broad showed good form against Pakistan and I'm thinking that Graeme Swann may be called upon to demonstrate some spin-bowling prowess. This one really could come down to the toss and I am tempted to back the team that bats last.
