ENGLAND VS WALES 2010 SIX NATIONS BETTING TIPS
We've got a stellar international rugby fixture today on the opening day of the Six Nations Tournament. After a rather tepid match in the Ireland vs Italy fixture, we're going to be looking for both teams to come out all guns blazing and produce rugby of a proper Six Nations standard.
England are the fairly heavy favourites going into this one and William Hill has them priced at 8/15 while Wales trade at a 7/4 margin. The draw pays out at 20/1, but I don't really see that happening.
The handicap is set to (-4.0) in England's favour and you're looking at 10/11 odds on the over/under. There is a veritable slew of winnig margin bets available and the shortest odds on England to win are a mere 1-5 margin of victory which pays out at 4/1. England to win by between 6-10 pays 5/1.
Wales to notch a victory by between 1-5 points pays out at 11/2.
In terms of the total match points, the favoured result is over 40 points at 10/11 while under 38 pays 11/10. Between 38-40 inclusive pays out at 15/2. There is also an expanded section that boasts multiple handicap bets.
Looking at the tryscorer markets, we've got Mark Cueto as the favoured scorer alongside Ugo Monye and Ben Foden at 5/2 anytime and 12/1 first or last. Delon Armitage, Matthew Tait and Toby Flood pay out at 16/1 first or last and 3/1 anytime.
Jonny Wilkinson is 9/2 to score a try at any time.
For Wales, they'll be looking to Tom James at 5/2 and Shane Williams at 9/4. Leigh Halfpenny trades at 5/2 while Lee Burne can be backed at 3/1.
I think England should take this one, but the bookies clearly expect it to be close. If you think England can put together a good total, then you're looking at a very solid payout.
